The New York Map Society hosts Jonah Rosenberg, its president, at the first of what will be a series of talks on the history of maps and mapmakers: “Mapping the Ancient Way: classical sources of modern cartography.”

Current-paid-members-only of the New York Map Society are invited to reserve one or more places at a private tour of holdings of the Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Columbia University by its Director (and New York Map Society member)  Courtney Chartier.

Christopher W. Lane (founder and former co-owner of The Philadelphia Print Shop and The Philadelphia Print Shop West) will show you “Mapping Philadelphia: The City’s Evolution Through Three and a Half Centuries of Maps.”
