Wednesday, September 22, 2021, 7:00 pm New York (EDT) time: the New York Map Society will present Mark Monmonier, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Geography and the Environment, Syracuse University, on “Adventures in Academic Cartography.” Monmonier, prolific author and editor of “Cartography in the Twentieth Century” (Volume Six of “The History of Cartography”), retired in May 2021.
